• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110 - $2,220 (competitive travel nurse pay)
• Location: Seattle, WA 98122 — Seattle healthcare jobs / Washington travel nursing jobs
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 4 x 10-hour shifts (07:00 – 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
• Unit: Endoscopy 25W — endoscopy nurse / GI nurse unit
• Orientation: 40 hours

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy or GI Lab nursing experience (endoscopy RN, GI nurse preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S. (compact licenses accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with moderate sedation and endoscopy technical procedures preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred (electronic health record experience a plus)
• Ability to float as needed within the department
• First-time travel nurses are welcome—great opportunity for travel RN career growth

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality peri-procedural and therapeutic nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Care for ambulatory and hospitalized patients across the lifespan, including pediatric and geriatric patients with complex GI disease
• Perform moderate sedation, continuous patient monitoring, and technical assistance during endoscopy procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, and others to ensure coordinated care
• Manage admissions, discharges, and patient turnover in a large endoscopy department (19 admit/discharge rooms, 9 procedure rooms)
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement standards in a fast-paced tertiary center
