• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750 - $2,890
• Location: Greenwich, CT (06830) — Connecticut nursing jobs / Greenwich healthcare
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:30) with on-call rotation for off hours, holidays, and weekends (30-minute callback)
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab (Unit 36070) — interventional cardiology, electrophysiology (EP)
• Employment Type: Travel nurse / Travel contract

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience (Cardiac catheterization, EP implant/ablation, or interventional cardiology). First-time travelers considered if experience requirement met.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut required (must apply prior to submittal if not already held)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience required
• Experience with Cardiac Cath, Electrophysiology (EP) procedures, device implants, and cardiac testing
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• One professional reference required
• Pre-start modules completed (approx. 2 hours for RN)
• Not accepting local candidates — must reside more than 75 miles from facility (travel nurse requirement)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and support for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and device implants
• Monitor patients during procedures, manage procedural sedation, and provide post-procedure recovery care
• Administer emergency medications, manage IV vasopressors, and respond to rapid response events
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias; obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG tracings
• Perform sheath removal, vascular closure, and topical hemostasis following interventional procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response
• Participate in on-call rotation for off hours, weekends, and holidays (30-minute callback requirement)
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions for patient safety
