Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) in a hospital or core lab setting
• ASCP certification or equivalent preferred (MLS, MT credentials welcome)
• Availability and ability to work evening shifts in a fast-paced clinical lab
• Strong attention to detail, quality control, and adherence to lab protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with nursing and clinical staff
• Familiarity with routine and specialized Core Lab testing and instrumentation

Core Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in the hospital Core Laboratory (chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and related assays)
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot clinical laboratory analyzers and equipment according to protocols
• Ensure accurate, timely reporting of test results to support patient care and clinical decision-making
• Follow quality assurance, safety, and regulatory compliance standards (CLIA, CAP best practices)
• Collaborate with clinical teams and laboratory leadership to maintain workflow and specimen integrity
