CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) travel opportunity in Mountain Home, AR — 13-week contract for experienced perioperative RNs with 3+ years CVOR experience. Join a vascular surgery team in the scenic Ozarks.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,720 – $2,870 (Travel RN pay)
• Location: Mountain Home, AR 72653 — Arkansas travel nursing, Ozarks area
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 26, 2026 – August 25, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour (06:30 – 15:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Unit: CVOR / Vascular Surgery (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Travel Assignment: Candidates within 50 miles are not eligible (local candidates within 50 miles not accepted)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of CVOR RN / cardiovascular OR nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred (travel RN, travel nurse)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at submission
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS; PALS preferred
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) preferred
• Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert perioperative care for cardiovascular and vascular surgery patients as a perioperative / CVOR nurse
• Assist with advanced procedures including CABG, valve replacements, endovascular repairs, and robotic-assisted surgeries
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including surgeons, anesthesia, and radiology
• Float to Main Hall or adjacent units as needed to support surgical volumes
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and ensure compliance with facility protocols
• Respond to codes and emergencies within the CVOR and contribute to patient safety initiatives
