Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,470 – $1,580
• Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547 (Emerald Coast, Okaloosa County)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (March 13, 2026 – June 12, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour days, Monday – Friday (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Travel Technologist / On-site Nuclear Medicine job

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or Radiology Technologist with nuclear medicine experience
• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (NMTCB, ARRT(N), or state equivalent) and current state licensure as required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to patient safety, and ability to follow radiation safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary radiology and healthcare team

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures (SPECT, cardiac, bone, thyroid, and other studies) and ensure diagnostic-quality images
• Prepare, handle, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely following institutional and NRC guidelines
• Monitor and observe patients during procedures; provide compassionate patient care and education
• Perform routine equipment QC, maintenance checks, and report any issues to biomedical/engineering teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in PACS/EHR, complete procedure logs, and assist radiologists with image review
• Follow radiation safety protocols, maintain contamination control, and participate in departmental safety training
