Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Job Type: Travel RN / Homecare RN / On-site Home Health
• Location: Renton, WA – South King County coverage area (Seattle area / zip 98057)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: May 4, 2026 – End: July 31, 2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (8-hour shifts)
• On Call/Weekend Requirement: Yes (participation in weekend rotation and observed holidays)
• Dress Code: Solid colored scrubs
• Mileage Reimbursement: Yes, between patient visits

Job Requirements (Home Health RN / Travel RN)

• Current, unencumbered Washington State RN license
• BLS CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or reliable public transportation
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; home health experience preferred
• Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and OASIS assessments is a plus

Responsibilities (Home Health Nurse / Homecare RN)

• Perform comprehensive home health assessments (OASIS) and develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Provide high-quality clinical care within scope of practice and established infection control standards
• Supervise and provide required supervisory visits for home health aides and LPN/LVNs
• Complete medication reconciliation, timely documentation of visits (HCHB preferred), and accurate clinical charting
• Ensure patients meet home health eligibility and medical necessity guidelines
• Communicate effectively with agency staff, physicians, patients, and families to coordinate care and promote positive patient outcomes
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, survey readiness, and quality improvement initiatives to reduce hospital readmissions
• Assist with orientation and act as a preceptor to new staff and students
• Maintain schedule flexibility to meet patient needs, including weekend and holiday coverage
