Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1910 - $2010
• Location: Mason, Ohio (Zip: 45040) — Ohio nursing jobs, travel RN position
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: May 18, 2026 – End: August 15, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am); every third weekend required — night shift ICU nurse
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: 8-bed ICU; may float to 24-bed PCU/Med-Surg unit
• Type: Travel (Travel Nurse / Travel RN / ICU RN)

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience as an ICU RN / Critical Care Nurse
• At least 2 years of travel nurse experience in similar acuity preferred
• Current RN license in Ohio or a Compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Dysrhythmia exam required
• Ability to float between ICU and PCU (med-surg) as needed

Responsibilities / Clinical Duties

• Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing patient assessments for critically ill patients
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans as an ICU Registered Nurse
• Administer medications safely and according to hospital protocols
• Manage complex, critically ill patients with multi-system organ failure and trauma
• Provide nursing care using advanced life-support technologies: ventilator management, CRRT, IABP, Impella, ECMO
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and manage advanced respiratory modalities
• Care for patients with cardiovascular emergencies, respiratory failure, sepsis, neurologic and post-surgical needs, and metabolic/endocrine crises
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case management) and advocate for patient safety
• Provide compassionate, relationship-based care to patients and families
• Float to PCU/Med-Surg as needed and support RN and PCT staff
