Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-week travel nurse assignment in Buffalo, NY. Join a modern endoscopy unit providing peri-procedural and GI patient care in the heart of Buffalo (14203).

Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 – $2,500
- Location: Buffalo, NY 14203 (travel nurse position)
- Setting: Endoscopy Unit / GI Endoscopy (3 procedure rooms)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 9, 2026)
- Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts (Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Week: Thursday – Wednesday (rotating pass day)
- Weekends / Holidays: None
- On-Call: None
- Dress Code: Scrubs
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years RN experience with current endoscopy procedures experience (Endoscopy RN or GI nurse preferred)
- Active and clear New York State RN (NYS RN) license required
- BLS certification required; ACLS or specialty endoscopy certifications a plus
- Prior GI/endoscopy unit experience and familiarity with peri-procedural nursing best practices
- Strong clinical assessment, patient education, and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during endoscopic and GI procedures in a fast-paced endoscopy unit
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures, including sedation and recovery
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, adhere to infection control standards, and support quality initiatives
- Educate patients and families on procedure expectations, after-care, and discharge instructions to promote safety and satisfaction
