Job Details – Interventional Radiology Nurse (Travel RN)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Location: Belmont, NC (Zip: 28012) – Travel nursing job in North Carolina. • Setting: Imaging Nursing Unit – Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour days (07:00 – 17:30), 4 shifts per week
• On-Call: Up to 1 weeknight per week (17:30 – 07:00); Weekend on-call every 5th week (Fri–Sun, 17:30 – 07:00)
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel nursing opportunity

Required Qualifications – IR RN / Radiology Nurse

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (Interventional Radiology, Imaging Unit, or related procedural experience preferred)
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and peri-procedural care skills
• Willingness and ability to participate in on-call rotations

Responsibilities – Interventional Radiology Nursing

• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure nursing care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology and advanced imaging procedures
• Monitor patients during procedures across imaging modalities including CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and Interventional Radiology
• Deliver safe care to mostly adult patients and to infants and children undergoing MRIs with anesthesia
• Collaborate with radiologists, anesthesiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to clinical protocols, and uphold high standards of patient care in the imaging department
