Job Details – Radiologic Technologist / Rad Tech (Falls Church, VA)

• Assignment Type: Travel radiology job (13 weeks)
• Location: Falls Church, VA 22042 (Northern Virginia / Washington, D.C. metro)
• Setting: Hospital – inpatient and outpatient imaging
• Start Date: May 11, 2026
• End Date: August 8, 2026
• Shift: 10-hour days (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40 guaranteed
• On-Call / Weekend: 1–2 on-call shifts per week and 1 weekend per month
• Holiday Expectations: 2 minor, 1 major holidays
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,710 – $2,920
• Floating: No floating required for this position

Required Qualifications – Radiology Technologist

• Active Virginia state license at time of submission (if ARRT certified)
• Certification: ARRT or RCIS required; BLS (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Rad Tech in a hospital setting
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred (experience with PACS and digital imaging a plus)
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and work some holidays/weekends
• Strong patient care and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities – CT, MRI, Vascular, DEXA, Diagnostic Imaging

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple specialties: Vascular, MRI, CT, DEXA and general diagnostic imaging
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain quality control and radiation safety protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses and other clinical staff in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records using Epic EMR and PACS
• Participate in a 1-week floor orientation and ongoing training as needed
• Provide exceptional patient care, positioning, and education during imaging exams
