• Position: CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) / Cardiovascular OR Nurse / Perioperative RN
• Assignment Type: Travel RN (Travel Nursing Job)
• Location: McKinney, TX 75069 (Dallas–Fort Worth metro area)
• Clinical Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) — 7 OR suites
• Start Date: April 13, 2026
• End Date: July 13, 2026 (13 weeks)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• On-Call: Approximately 10–15 days per month (CV positions only)
• Unit Location: 1st floor, Main Building
• Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs

Qualifications

• Active RN license (compact license acceptable where applicable)
• BLS certification required; additional certifications (ACLS, CNOR) a plus
• Minimum 1 year recent Operating Room (OR) experience — perioperative/CVOR experience preferred
• Proven experience with Neuro and Ortho/Spine procedures required; General/Trauma OR skills required
• Trauma center and Ortho experience preferred for OR and CVOR roles
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR or similar electronic medical records
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a positive, professional attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Assist with a broad range of surgical procedures including cardiac, ortho, neuro, robotics, general, trauma, and urology
• Maintain sterile technique and perioperative safety standards for all cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: RNs, CSTs, anesthesia techs, surgeons, and ancillary staff
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio as required to ensure optimal intraoperative care
• Document thoroughly in Meditech EMR and adhere to hospital policies and unit guidelines
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to CVOR emergency activations as scheduled
