This travel nursing assignment provides the opportunity to deliver skilled nursing care, wound care, medication education, and case management in patients' homes while supporting work-life balance in the scenic Pacific Northwest.

Job Details

• Location: Redmond, WA 98052 (serving Bellevue, Kenmore, Renton, Sammamish)
• Assignment Type: Travel / Contract — Home Health RN (Travel Nurse)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 – $2,230
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• On-Call/Weekend: On rotation
• Contract Length: 14 weeks
• Travel Reimbursement: Mileage reimbursed between patient visits
• Dress Code: No designated scrub color

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State — required for Washington home health nursing jobs
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of home health nursing or homecare RN experience (travel nurse/home health experience preferred)
• Experience with EMR systems; Homecare Homebase experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and case management skills for home health case coordination
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits (required for home health travel assignments)

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for home health patients, including wound care, catheter care, medication management, and disease process education
• Perform patient assessments, develop and update individualized care plans, and provide ongoing case management
• Document all care provided accurately in EMR systems (charting and compliance for home health services)
• Educate patients and families on self-care, medication administration, and health maintenance to support positive outcomes
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members (physical therapy, social work, primary care) to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as required for the travel assignment
