Travel Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) – Vancleave, MS | 19-week travel contract. Active Mississippi RN license and 1+ year home health nursing experience required. Join a compassionate, community-focused team providing skilled home health care across Jackson County.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 – $2,230
• Location: Vancleave, Mississippi (Jackson County) — local travel nursing job near the Gulf Coast
• Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel RN / Home Health RN
• Duration: 19 weeks (April 20, 2026 – August 29, 2026)
• Hours: 32 hours per week guaranteed; average 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, plus 1 Saturday per month (with a weekday off that week)
• Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs
• Mileage Reimbursement: $0.48 per mile between visits (from first to last patient)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Home Health Nursing experience (Homecare RN / Home Health Nurse)
• Proficient with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) software — clinical documentation and scheduling experience
• Infusion therapy skills, complex wound care, patient teaching, and strong time management
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced home health setting
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (minimum)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Mississippi
• Fingerprinting and cleared criminal background check required prior to start

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to home health patients across Jackson County — delivering community-based nursing and patient-centered care
• Perform and manage infusion therapy and multiple complex wound care cases
• Provide patient and family education on care plans, medication management, and disease process
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using HCHB (Homecare Homebase) and meet productivity expectations
• Effectively manage visit schedules, travel between patient homes, and mileage reporting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, case managers, and physicians to ensure quality outcomes
