- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380 – $2,550 (competitive travel pay)
- Location: Dallas, TX 75235 (central Dallas medical hub)
- Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) — Travel Contract
- Setting: Radiology / Nuclear Medicine Unit (diagnostic imaging)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 20, 2026 – August 19, 2026)
- Shift: 8 Hour Days (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday)
- Hours: 40 hours guaranteed per week
- On Call & Weekends: Schedule to be determined by facility
Qualifications & Requirements (Nuclear Medicine Technologist / NMT)
- Minimum 2 years of current Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Active permanent or temporary Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from the Texas Medical Board (required)
- Current ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine (N) or CNMT — must be current or obtained within 6 months of hire
- American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
- Experience with Siemens and Spectrum Imaging equipment highly preferred
- Proficiency operating Gamma cameras, SPECT/CT and PET/CT scanners, cardiac stress systems, and nuclear medicine computers
- Ability to administer intramuscular and intravenous injections and start IV lines for radiopharmaceutical administration
- Basic knowledge of nuclear medicine therapeutic treatments and EKG for cardiac studies
- Solid understanding of nuclear medicine physics, radiochemistry, mathematics, and biomedical sciences

- Must disclose any previous Parkland employment history in profile
Primary Responsibilities — Radiology & Diagnostic Imaging
- Perform quality control, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on nuclear medicine equipment and devices
- Operate and optimize imaging equipment (Gamma cameras, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) for high-quality diagnostic studies
- Confer with physicians to determine appropriate procedures and ensure effective clinical operations
- Document laboratory operations including receipt/disposition of radioactive materials, QC data, patient procedures, and medical records
- Exercise independent judgment during scheduled examinations and procedures while following established safety and regulatory guidelines
- Identify and implement workflow improvements to enhance patient experience and departmental efficiency
- Provide clinical instruction and mentorship to radiology students, residents, and clinical staff
- Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, physicians, nurses, residents, and patients
- Ensure adherence to all applicable rules, regulations, facility policies, laws, and accreditation requirements
- Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine through seminars, workshops, and professional organizations
