• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130

• Setting: Inpatient Adult Psychiatric Unit (behavioral health, mental health nursing)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (6/22/2026 – 9/19/2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour shifts; day/night rotation (07:00-19:00 or 19:00-07:00)

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required for travel nursing in New Hampshire)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in inpatient psychiatric nursing or behavioral health nursing
• Experience managing IEA/Involuntary status and higher-acuity psychiatric patients
• Restraint chair experience preferred; training in de-escalation and safety protocols
• EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience preferred
• Completion of AVADE/MOAB/CPI training (mandatory) — Crisis Prevention Intervention / safe patient handling

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to adults in an inpatient psychiatric setting
• Provide behavioral health nursing interventions, crisis stabilization, and medication administration
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary, team-based nursing approach
• Manage patient assignments with ratios typically 1:6–1:7 and prioritize patient safety
• Provide care for patients with involuntary admissions and higher acuity mental health needs
• Utilize restraint chair and follow established safety and documentation protocols when necessary
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions using EPIC EMR
• Maintain flexibility with day/night rotations and participate in scheduled staffing rotations
