- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230 (Home Health Travel Nurse pay)
- Location: Denver, CO (80222) — Denver home health jobs, Colorado nursing jobs
- Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse
- Assignment Duration: 12 weeks (Start: 4/13/2026, End: 7/3/2026)
- Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed minimum: 32)
- Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts (typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- On Call/Weekend Requirement: One weekend per month and PRN during the week
- Dress Code: Any scrubs
- Mileage: Mileage reimbursed between patient visits
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Colorado license or compact privilege preferred
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; home health nursing experience preferred
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred; strong documentation skills in home health EMR
- Wound care skills and wound vac experience are a plus (home health wound care)
- Professional certification required (e.g., BLS from AHA; other certifications preferred)
Responsibilities — Home Health RN / Travel Nurse
- Perform patient visits across the Denver office service area, providing home health nursing care
- Document visits and patient care accurately in HCHB or designated EMR
- Coordinate care with the office team, interdisciplinary team, physicians, and referral sources
- Attend daily stand-up/stand-down meetings, case conferences, and clinical training sessions
- Maintain productivity expectations (24 points for 32 hours, 30 points for 40 hours) while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
- Provide wound assessment and treatment as needed; escalate clinical concerns per agency policy
