• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 15, 2026 – September 14, 2026)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Shift: Rotating Day/Night, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM); every other weekend required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 – $2,040
• On-Call: Required
• Floating: Required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Patient Ratio: 1:1–2

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro ICU or neurocritical care experience; ICU travel nursing experience preferred
• Valid RN license: compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA only)
• Proficient with Epic EHR (electronic health record) — Epic experience required
• Ability to float to units of similar or lower acuity as needed
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)

Responsibilities – Neuro ICU RN / Neurocritical Care

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult neurocritical patients, including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, meningitis, neuromuscular disorders, and post-op neurosurgery cases
• Manage advanced neurocritical care procedures: EVD and ICP monitoring, ventilator management, and bedside procedures (tracheostomy, PEG, central and arterial line care)
• Initiate and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, manage dysrhythmias, and provide emergency interventions per unit protocol
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurosurgery, neurology, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, radiology, and pharmacy
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic EHR and support continuity of care across shifts
• Participate in self-scheduling, adhere to weekend and on-call requirements, and float as needed
