- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 - $2,430
- Location: Knoxville, TN 37916 (Tennessee travel radiology job)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (06/01/2026 – 08/31/2026)
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (Mon–Fri, 07:00–17:30; 1 day off per week)
- Shifts per week: 4
- Call: Two nights of call per week (5:30pm–7:00am) & one weekend of call per month (Fri 5:30pm–Mon 7:00am)
- Orientation: 16 hours, bi-weekly
- Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist / Contract
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in Interventional Radiology, including neuro/stroke procedures — experience with stroke interventions preferred
- ARRT (R) certification required with advanced certification in VI, CV, or CI (Vascular/Cardiovascular/Cardiac Interventional Radiography)
- Previous travel experience required (travel technologist experience)
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Experience with PACS and Siemens imaging equipment; Cerner charting preferred
- Ability to float to other departments within scope of practice
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from facility (travel assignment requirement)
Responsibilities — Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Perform advanced interventional radiology procedures including neuro-interventional and stroke interventions as an IR technologist
- Assist with angiography, angioplasty, stent placements, biopsies, contrast studies, and other vascular/cardiac procedures
- Operate and maintain radiology and fluoroscopic equipment (Siemens preferred) and ensure high image quality
- Adhere to radiation safety (ALARA) and infection control/sterile technique standards during procedures
- Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric patients; adolescent experience preferred
- Participate in call rotation and respond to emergent neuro/stroke cases as scheduled
- Float to other hospital departments as needed and complete required orientation modules and annual training
