Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel) – Rochester, NY | Active NY RN, 2+ years L&D experience, BLS (AHA), NRP/Neonatal Resuscitation. Join our team for a 13-week travel contract providing antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care in Rochester (14642).

• Assignment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / L&D RN)

• End Date: August 8, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts, 4 days per week (L&D shift schedule)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 – $2,200 (estimated)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN License (New York only)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery / obstetrics nursing experience
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association only)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP)
• OR and triage experience highly desired (operating room and triage/triage RN skills)
• Strong communication, prioritization, clinical judgment, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable providing care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients across acuity levels

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients (high, moderate, and low risk) as an L&D nurse and maternity/obstetrics nurse
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including OB/GYN, neonatal staff, anesthesia, and surgical teams to ensure family-centered perinatal care
• Float among OB/GYN units as needed to meet patient volume and acuity demands (labor & delivery, postpartum, triage, OR support)
• Maintain clinical competencies across various delivery modes and emergent procedures in the OB service
• Demonstrate adaptability, strong clinical assessment, and commitment to high-quality, evidence-based maternity nursing in a fast-paced environment
