- Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,000 - $3,160
- Location: Cudahy, WI 53110 — near Milwaukee, WI (Wisconsin nursing jobs)
- Facility: 100-bed community hospital, Level IV Trauma, Stroke Center
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (6/27/2026 – 9/24/2026)
- Shift: Five 8-hour day shifts per week (08:00 – 16:30)
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-Call: Weekend rotation, on-call every 3 weeks (Monday 16:00 to following Monday 07:00), 45-minute response time
- Scrubs: Provided
- Parking: Free
Required Qualifications – Interventional Radiology Nurse / IR RN
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience (preferred for IR nurse roles)
- Active Wisconsin RN license in hand at time of application (required for travel nurse RN placement)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- ARRT (Radiography/Interventional Radiography) certification
- Experience with common IR procedures: nephrostomy tubes, sonograms, port placements, biopsies, angiograms, PE thrombectomies, embolizations, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, thoracentesis/paracentesis
- Comfortable with charting/coding for cases (preferred, not required)
- Ability to scrub and pan simultaneously
- First-time travel nurses encouraged to apply — traveler-friendly orientation provided
Interventional Radiology RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the IR suite and minor procedure room (average 5–8 patients/day)
- Assist with a broad variety of IR procedures for an older patient population
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, radiology PAs, lead techs, lead RNs, and unit management
- Use clinical systems and equipment including EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, McKesson PACS, GE Fluoro machine, ultrasound machines, and Inari devices
- Float to CT to assist with procedures (note: will not operate CT equipment)
- Participate in rapid response/code team as needed
- Complete facility and unit orientation (NEO and 2–3 shifts of unit orientation)
- Participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotations as scheduled
