Job Details

• Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) / Travel RN / Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 – $2,100
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shifts per Week: 4 shifts per week
• Call Requirements: 6–8 shifts per month, including one weekend
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab with 4 procedure rooms and holding area
• Patient Ratio: 1:1

Minimum Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Florida (required for Travel RN assignment)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience (circulating experience preferred)
• Experience with sedation administration and monitoring during procedures
• Experience with atherectomy, IVUS, thrombectomy a plus; RCIS certification preferred
• Familiarity with GE imaging equipment and Meditech EMR / Merge Hemodynamics documentation systems preferred

Responsibilities – Cath Lab RN / Interventional Cardiology

• Provide direct patient care during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
• Circulate and assist with advanced procedures: LHC, RHC, coronary interventions, PPM insertion, EP studies with ablation, Watchman, TAVR, and PFO closure
• Administer sedation, monitor patient responses, and maintain patient safety throughout procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team including CV analysts, RNs, RT scrubs, and physicians
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR and Merge Hemodynamics systems and uphold clinical quality standards
• Participate in scheduled call shifts and provide excellent patient-centered care in a fast-paced cath lab environment
