Join the Neurodiagnostics team at a leading hospital in Madison, WI (Magnet-designated). This travel EEG technologist position offers hands-on experience with epilepsy monitoring, SEEG, SPECT, long-term monitoring (LTM), and ICU/continuous EEG in a top-ranked teaching hospital in Wisconsin.
Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 – $1,820
- Location: Leading hospital, Madison, WI 53792 (Madison, WI travel EEG job / Wisconsin EEG jobs)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
- Shift: Day/Evening, 10-hour shifts (07:00 AM – 5:30 PM), rotating weekends, no call
- Hours per Week: 40
- Employment Type: Travel – EEG Technologist / Neurodiagnostic Technologist
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 recent years of EEG technologist experience at a Level 1 trauma or teaching facility, or similar-size facility with SEEG and SPECT experience in an epilepsy monitoring unit within the last two years
- BLS certification required
- R.EEGT certification preferred (may be required for some shifts)
- Epic electronic charting experience required
- Pediatric EEG experience preferred
- Pass/Fail telemetry exam required prior to start (strict criteria)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- State license must be in hand at submittal
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic neurodiagnostic testing: EEG, evoked potentials (EP), nerve conduction studies (NCS), long-term monitoring (LTM), and ICU/continuous EEG monitoring
- Support epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU) activities including SEEG monitoring and SPECT procedures
- Operate and maintain EEG equipment such as Natus Neuroworks (XLTEK), Zeto quick-read EEG systems, and MRI/CT conditional EEG leads
- Obtain relevant patient history and ensure test validity and interpretability during recordings
- Work across settings: outpatient lab, ER, OR, ICU, special monitoring units, or bedside
- Float between units as needed and participate in weekend/holiday rotations
- Collaborate with physicians and senior neurodiagnostic staff to support patient care in a teaching hospital environment
