• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: May 18, 2026
• Shift: 5x8-Hour Days (08:00 – 16:30 or 09:00 – 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,100 – $2,210
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Unit Details: 12 beds, average daily census of 32, patient ratio 1:6
• Orientation: 3-4 shifts with a preceptor
• Weekend Shifts: 12 weekend shifts per contract

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience in infusion/ambulatory oncology or inpatient oncology
• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ONS / ONCC Chemotherapy Certification (required)
• ONS Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Certificate (required)
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) preferred
• Experience with Cerner and Intellidose documentation systems preferred
• COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines required (medical exemption for flu only)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive oncology nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an infusion setting
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive medications safely and according to protocol
• Perform vascular access management including ports, IV starts, and infusion maintenance; perform phlebotomy as needed
• Monitor for and manage treatment-related reactions and emergencies (tumor lysis syndrome, anaphylaxis, extravasation)
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, medication side effects, symptom management, and infusion safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy, social services, case management, and rapid response teams
• Accurately document nursing care, medication administration, and patient education in Cerner and Intellidose
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols for handling cytotoxic agents, infection control, and hazardous waste
