Job Details

• Location: Vineland, NJ 08360 (Southern New Jersey / South Jersey)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks — contract nursing opportunity
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,580 – $2,720
• Shift: Details provided upon interview
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday
• Scrub Color: Steel Grey

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years recent Labor & Delivery experience (experience within the last 6 months required)
• Experience with postpartum couplet care and newborn transition care required
• Active New Jersey (NJ) or Compact RN license — pending licenses not accepted
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
• Ability to complete all required orientation, virtual modules, and in-person classes as scheduled
• At least 1 year of overall nursing experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers, support vaginal and operative deliveries, and manage postpartum couplet care for mother and newborn
• Monitor and assess mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and recovery using standard clinical protocols
• Collaborate closely with obstetricians, midwives, neonatologists, and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient charts and adhere to hospital policies and L&D protocols
• Participate in required orientation, competency validations, and continuing education activities
• Fulfill scheduling commitments, including weekend and holiday rotations
