• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,560 - $1,670

• Setting: Hospital Operating Room (OR) — scrub tech / surgical technologist role
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 17, 2026 – August 15, 2026)
• Shift: 4x10 hour days, Monday–Friday (7:00am – 5:30pm)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On Call: Required

Required Qualifications – Surgical Technologist / Surgical Tech

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification — BCLS accepted
• National Certified Surgical Technologist (NCST/CST) preferred — certification as Certified Surgical Technologist highly desired
• Minimum 1 year recent operating room (OR) experience required
• Solid knowledge of surgical principles, sterile technique, and OR workflow
• Proficiency operating sterilizers, adjusting OR tables and accessory devices, and handling specialized surgical instruments
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced hospital setting

Core Responsibilities — Operating Room Surgical Tech

• Set up operating rooms with required equipment, instruments, sterile supplies, and implants
• Function as the scrub person/scrub tech throughout surgical procedures, maintaining sterile field and instrument counts
• Support cases in orthopedic trauma, neurosurgery, spine, gynecology, and urology—demonstrated specialty experience a plus
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, prepare instrumentation trays, and manage OR instrument care
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia, and ancillary staff to coordinate efficient patient care and case flow
• Communicate clearly with team members, physicians, and patients to facilitate safe perioperative care
• Demonstrate flexibility, problem-solving, and accountability consistent with hospital customer service and patient safety standards
