Job Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent ICU experience prior to travel — demonstrated critical care (ICU RN) experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a Compact State license in hand
• Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications (active, not pending)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (must obtain prior to start)
• Epic EHR / Epic charting experience required
• At least two recent ICU references (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU as an experienced ICU RN
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment using Epic
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and perform ICU-level treatments and interventions as prescribed
• Perform accurate and timely charting in Epic and participate in required competency assessments
• Participate in ongoing education, skill validation, and quality improvement initiatives
• Work scheduled holidays as part of the team rotation (at least every other holiday)
