• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (ICU night nurse)
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,610 - $1,788

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and communication skills
• Comfortable managing high-acuity patients, ventilators, IV drips, and advanced monitoring
• Ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced ICU environment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Continuously monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and operate advanced life support equipment (ventilators, hemodynamic monitors)
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement critical care plans
• Perform timely clinical interventions and escalate changes in patient status as needed
• Educate patients and families about care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory policies
