• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020-$2,130
• Setting: 65-bed Emergency Department with pod-based care, including a separate pediatric pod and acute mental health area
• Charting System: EPIC ASAP
• Additional Notes: Free on-site parking, floating may be required, and every other weekend coverage

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of emergency nursing experience required
• Active RN license
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Strong emergency department clinical skills, critical thinking, and patient assessment experience
• Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, EKG interpretation, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, documentation, and patient education
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency room environment with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Comfortable with night shift nursing and rotating assignments when requested
• TNCC and NRP certifications are strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to a diverse emergency department patient population in a busy ED setting
• Perform assessments, document care accurately, and support timely clinical decision-making
• Deliver care for adult, pediatric, and behavioral health patients in a dynamic emergency room environment
• Carry out common emergency nursing procedures including IV access, phlebotomy, EKGs, and cardiac monitoring
• Assist with splinting, point-of-care testing, and patient and family education
• Maintain a safe, efficient workflow while collaborating with the healthcare team in a high-volume department
• Adapt to floating needs and rotating shift requests as operationally required
