• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed Hours)
• On-Call: Yes — participation in on-call rotation required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Floating: Required to float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles (Martin North, South, Tradition)
• Charting System: EPIC (Electronic Health Record experience preferred)
• Scrub Color: Ceil Blue
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab RN experience required (2 years preferred) in diagnostic and interventional cardiology
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (no pending licenses accepted; license must be valid for assignment state)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, procedural sedation, and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
• Must be nicotine-free (negative 10-panel + nicotine drug screen required)
• Ability and willingness to float to multiple facilities within 20 miles as needed
• Completion of time-sensitive modules prior to start (6–15 hours, non-billable)
• Successful completion of EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• All requested time off must be submitted with application
• First-time travelers accepted — great opportunity for new travel nurses

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality peri-procedural nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations and peripheral interventions
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, including sedation, recovery, and disposition
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and respond to emergent changes in patient status
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC and support quality metrics
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (cardiologists, techs, anesthesia, and OR staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other Cath Lab units within the health system as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation and follow facility policies (including nicotine-free status)
