• Role: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel RN / Telemetry RN
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: May 27, 2026
• End Date: August 26, 2026
• Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry Unit (cardiac monitoring)
• Shift: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (travel nursing jobs, Ohio)

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required (Telemetry RN / Med-Surg RN)
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (active, no pending)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from Med/Surg Telemetry
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday during contract
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation (2 attempts maximum)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit (telemetry monitoring, cardiac observation)
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and ECG strips; respond promptly to rhythm changes and acute events
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and per protocol (IV medications, telemetry-specific meds)
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital policies and telemetry standards
