Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiothoracic ICU | Cleveland, OH (University Circle)

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44106 — University Circle (museums, gardens, dining, easy city access)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 15, 2026 – September 13, 2026)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: 20-bed Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU) — cardiac surgery ICU, post-op cardiac care
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio (or Compact RN eligibility)
• RN Critical Care certification required (CCR N or equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience; cardiothoracic/cardiac surgery ICU preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to complete all onboarding health and professional documentation (MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap, TB/PPD, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement, background check, skills checklist)
• Valid Driver's License or State ID

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert critical care nursing for post-cardiac surgery patients directly from the OR (CABG, valve procedures, Ross, aortic dissection, thoracic cases)
• Titrate and manage drips, including sedatives and vasoactive medications
• Manage chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines; perform patient mobilization and daily weights
• Operate and monitor advanced support devices: CRRT, Tablo, Aquadex, Impella, IABP, HeartMate III, external VAD, and ECMO
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams (cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, perfusionists, PT/OT, respiratory therapy) to optimize outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation consistent with hospital policy and critical care best practices
