Job Details — Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44106 (University Circle) — Cleveland healthcare jobs, Ohio nursing jobs
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 15, 2026 – September 13, 2026)
• Setting: Vascular surgery and cardiac procedural in-patient unit (Cardiac Stepdown / Telemetry)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
• Employment Type: Travel, On-site — Travel RN, Registered Nurse opportunity

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact State) — Registered Nurse (RN) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Telemetry, progressive care, or similar acute care setting
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings and background checks
• Ability to complete skills checklist and competency exams as required
• Preferred: Telemetry monitoring experience and prior vascular or cardiac procedural unit experience

Core Responsibilities — Cardiac Nursing / Telemetry RN

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac and vascular procedures
• Monitor cardiac rhythms (telemetry), recognize arrhythmias, and notify providers per unit protocols
• Administer medications and IV therapies, manage post-operative and post-procedure care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, surgeons, pharmacists, allied health) to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Provide patient and family education on recovery, discharge planning, and ongoing cardiac care
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR)
