Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – 13-week contract in Flemington, NJ (08822). Seeking an experienced perioperative RN/OR nurse with at least 2 years of recent operating room experience to join a supportive surgical team. This contract position in Hunterdon County offers competitive weekly pay and a stable 4x10 schedule with no weekends or on-call required.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500 (competitive contract nursing pay)
• Location: Flemington, NJ 08822 — New Jersey nursing jobs, Hunterdon County
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Weekends & On-Call: None
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative department

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (must be able to circulate)
• Ability to scrub is preferred (perioperative/OR scrub experience a plus)
• Active New Jersey RN license required at time of submission (NJ RN)
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate during a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team
• Prepare the operating room, confirm instrumentation and sterile supplies, and ensure equipment readiness
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality perioperative care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols
• Demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and effective communication in a fast-paced surgical environment
