Job Details

• Location: Harrison Township, NJ 08062 – South Jersey, close to Philadelphia and the Jersey Shore (New Jersey nursing jobs / NJ travel nurse jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 – $2,200 (competitive pay for ER travel nursing)
• Shifts: Weekend shifts required (every other weekend or 3 per month, depending on needs)
• Holiday: None required
• Start Date: June 1, 2026

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience required (ED RN / ER RN)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Previous travel nursing experience (completed at least one contract assignment)
• High volume / fast pace ED experience preferred (triage and critical care skills helpful)
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact (NLC) license
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS — all must be current (no pending or expiring within 30 days)
• Ability to complete full orientation as scheduled (no rescheduling permitted)
• Maximum of 3 days RTO (Requested Time Off) accepted; no block scheduling or special requests

Key Responsibilities (Emergency Department RN / ER RN)

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care in a busy ED setting
• Perform triage, rapid patient assessment, and prioritize care in high-acuity situations
• Respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies and changing patient conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, techs, respiratory therapy) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in all required orientation and training (virtual and in-person) and follow hospital policies and compliance standards
