• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 — Cleveland healthcare jobs / Ohio nursing jobs
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: June 12, 2026
• Shift: 3 x 12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 7:00am–7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm–7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: HVTI-Stepdown unit (cardiac stepdown / telemetry); may float to J1-2, J33, and ED

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months recent Cardiac Stepdown, Stepdown, or telemetry unit experience (travel experience accepted)
• Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Active NIHSS certification
• One supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Ability to work at least every other holiday and flexibility for rotating shifts
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care for cardiac stepdown and telemetry patients
• Continuous monitoring and assessment of patient status, including ECG rhythm recognition and telemetry interpretation
• Administer medications and cardiac treatments safely and according to hospital policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (cardiology, critical care, ED, therapists) to optimize patient outcomes
• Float to J1-2, J33, or ED as needed to support similar patient populations
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record and uphold charting standards
• Participate in orientation, unit education, and continuing competency modules
