- Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Unit: 1 Central – Vascular and Cardiac Telemetry / PCU
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
Required Qualifications – RN / PCU (Telemetry)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar telemetry setting
- Active RN license (Nursys verification required) — travel nurse licensure requirements apply
- ACLS and BLS required; NIH Stroke Certification required
- Accredited nursing degree (ACEN or CCNE)
- Epic EMR experience (must be documented on resume for the past 12 months)
- Pre- and post-cardiac catheterization experience and vascular surgery care experience
- Sheath pulling experience highly preferred
- Comfortable floating to other units as needed; ability to work ratios of 1:4 (may increase to 1:5)
- Solid black scrubs required
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed; no RTO during first two weeks
Core Responsibilities – Progressive Care / Cardiac Telemetry RN
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients on a vascular and cardiac telemetry PCU
- Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients, interpret telemetry trends, and respond to changes in condition
- Provide pre- and post-procedural care for cardiac catheterization patients
- Assist with vascular surgery patient management and related clinical interventions
- Perform sheath pulling when credentialed (preferred)
- Administer medications, manage IVs and drips, and document care accurately in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Adhere to facility policies, maintain required certifications, and support patient safety and quality initiatives
