• Unit: 2 East (2E) – 34-bed cardiac PCU/Telemetry (stroke overflow unit)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment (Travel RN, Telemetry)
• Start Date: June 14, 2026
• End Date: September 12, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) – Night Shift RN / Telemetry RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010

Job Requirements (Telemetry RN Qualifications)

• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Telemetry RN experience (cardiac telemetry preferred)
• Active RN license with Nursys verification required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Accredited nursing degree (ACEN or CCNE)
• Recent phlebotomy experience (within the last year) and IV start competency
• Comfortable running and titrating cardiac drips
• Epic EMR experience within the past year (Epic charting experience preferred)
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• Solid black scrubs required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• RTO limited to 7 days; no RTO during first two weeks of assignment

Responsibilities (Telemetry RN / Cardiac PCU Duties)

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a cardiac PCU/Telemetry stroke overflow unit
• Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to rhythm changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and titrate cardiac drips per protocol
• Perform phlebotomy, IV starts, and other clinical procedures as required
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR and maintain clear clinical communication
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Float to other units as needed to support patient care and maintain unit staffing
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to hospital policies and best practices
