Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – 8-Week Contract | Philadelphia, PA

Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – 8-week contract in Downtown Philadelphia, PA. BSN and active Pennsylvania RN license required. Join our maternity nursing team delivering exceptional perinatal care.

Job Details

Contract Length: 8 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
Shifts: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 – $2,370
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19107 (Downtown Philadelphia; Philadelphia healthcare jobs / Pennsylvania nursing jobs)

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required
Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN (L&D / OB) experience
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and every other weekend
Strong communication and teamwork skills; experience in collaborative, multidisciplinary maternity care teams

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns (maternity nurse, perinatal care)
Monitor patient status, fetal monitoring, and respond to changes in condition
Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and postpartum care
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and newborn care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
