Job Details – Travel Nursing Job (PCU / Telemetry RN)

• Location: Akron, OH 44304 (Summit County; Cleveland-Akron-Canton region)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 6/14/2026 – End: 9/12/2026)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) — Night Shift RN / Telemetry RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Telemetry – Unit H5
• Employment Type: Travel / Travel Nurse (Registered Nurse)

PCU Registered Nurse Qualifications & Requirements

• Active and unrestricted RN license (required for placement in Ohio)
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg or Progressive Care/Telemetry nursing experience required
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the last year (Epic documentation and charting)
• BLS certification required
• Accredited nursing degree (ACEN or CCNE)
• Ability to float to other units as needed (flexible Telemetry/Med-Surg float)
• Solid black scrubs required
• Must provide required documentation and pass competency exams
• Ability to commit to the full assignment; only 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed, none during the first two weeks

PCU / Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care for Progressive Care/Telemetry patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition, response to treatment, and telemetry/cardiac monitoring as appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers) to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and operate clinical monitoring equipment
• Float to other units as needed to support clinical staffing and patient care needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR and follow hospital documentation standards
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, safety standards, and infection control practices
