• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,130 – $1,210

• Hours per Week: 40
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days (8:00am – 4:30pm)
• On Call: Required, 2 weekends per month

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR Tech / Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting
• Strong perioperative skills including sterile technique and surgical instrument handling
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation (2 weekends per month)
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to follow hospital OR protocols and documentation standards

Preferred Certifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or completion of an accredited surgical technology program preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA preferred
• Additional perioperative certifications or prior travel OR Tech experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team in the operating room to ensure a sterile, safe environment during procedures
• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments, including setup, counts, and sterile processing support
• Support surgeons and perioperative nurses during operations (pass instruments, anticipate needs)
• Maintain accurate documentation, surgical counts, and adhere to hospital and sterile processing protocols
• Participate in on-call coverage and respond as scheduled for urgent or emergency cases
