• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,520 – $1,640
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (surgical tech contract)
• Hours per Week: 36
• On Call Requirement: 24-hour call shifts (Fri PM 8p-7a, Sun 7a-7p, or Sat 7a-7a)

• Setting: Modern hospital operating rooms supporting orthopedic and spine surgery (ACDF, posterior lumbar, total joints)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room (OR) Tech
• Proven ability to scrub multiple service lines with emphasis on orthopedic and neuro/spine cases
• Required certifications: AHA BLS and active CST certification
• Completion of full orientation is mandatory; rescheduling is not permitted
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, and perioperative workflows

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures, including total joint arthroplasty and minimally invasive spine surgeries (ACDF, posterior lumbar)
• Support the perioperative team by preparing instruments, implants, and sterile fields for orthopedic and spine cases
• Participate in 24-hour on-call rotations as scheduled and respond promptly to call assignments
• Wear hospital-provided, laundered OR scrubs while on duty
• Complete all orientation modules and required in-person training sessions during onboarding
• Obtain and display hospital ID badge during orientation for accurate clock-ins
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
