We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) / Perioperative Nurse to work on-site in Harrison Township, NJ. This OR nursing job is ideal for an experienced surgical RN who values teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth. Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,520 – $2,650
• Location: On-site in Harrison Township, NJ (08062) — operating room / perioperative setting
• Setting: Operating Room (OR) – scrub nurse and circulating nurse responsibilities
• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks (short-term contract OR nursing job)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week
• Weekend/On Call: One weekend on call per month (24 hours Saturday, 12 hours Sunday)
• Scrubs: Provided by hospital

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience as an OR RN (perioperative nursing) with proven scrub and circulating skills
• 3+ years experience with Orthopedic Spine, Robotics, and Trauma surgical cases
• Current RN licensure in the State of New Jersey
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• American Heart Association ACLS certification required
• National perioperative certification preferred (CNOR or specialty certification preferred)
• Completion of full orientation is mandatory prior to independent practice

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for a wide range of surgical procedures including orthopedic spine, robotics-assisted surgery, and trauma cases
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and perioperative staff to deliver safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain strict sterile technique and adhere to infection control and perioperative safety protocols
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation and respond promptly when called
• Complete all required orientation modules, competency validations, and in-person training as assigned
• Demonstrate flexibility, clinical judgment, and adaptability in a high-volume operating room environment
