- Facility/Setting: Hospital – Surgical Services (GI/Endoscopy Unit)
- Position: Endoscopy Technician / GI Tech / Endoscopy Technologist (Travel, W2)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: June 15, 2026
- Shifts: 4 shifts per week; 10-hour day shifts; 40 hours/week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,117 – $1,242
- Employment Type: Travel assignment (W2)
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as an Endoscopy Technician, GI Tech, or in a similar surgical services/sterile processing role
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-focused skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and infection control
- Preferred: certifications such as CRCST, CSD, or BLS are a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic and GI procedures (EGD, colonoscopy and related interventions)
- Prepare and turnover procedure rooms; ensure endoscopes and related equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained
- Monitor and support patients before, during, and after procedures; assist with patient positioning and vitals as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation, procedure logs, and adhere to hospital and regulatory protocols
- Collaborate with the surgical services and sterile processing teams to deliver high-quality, safe patient care
