• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
• Job Type: Travel RN / Contract Registered Nurse
• Setting/Unit: Cardiac Stepdown / Telemetry (may float to similar units)
• Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 7:00am – 7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Start Date: June 12, 2026
• End Date: September 11, 2026
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Cleveland healthcare / Ohio nursing job)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of recent Cardiac Stepdown, telemetry, or stepdown experience (travel or permanent)
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active, not pending)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the cardiac/stepdown specialty required
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts and every other holiday as scheduled
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (cardiac telemetry skills required)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery in a stepdown/telemetry setting
• Monitor cardiac telemetry, assess rhythm changes, and respond promptly to patient condition changes
• Document patient progress and communicate care plans with interdisciplinary teams including cardiology and surgical services
• Float to similar units (J1-2, J33, ED) as needed to support operational needs
• Participate in onboarding, ongoing education, and required competency assessments
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
