- Position: NICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Neonatal RN / Travel Nurse
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
- Location: Cleveland, OH 44106 (Cleveland, Ohio) — Level IV NICU
- Setting: Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 12, 2026 – End: April 12, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (07:30 AM – 08:00 PM), D/N rotating or straight nights (19:30 – 08:00)
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule)
- Scrubs: Navy Blue
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active RN license (NICU specialty required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent NICU experience caring for neonates and premature infants
- Completion of required health screenings and immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Physical/Health Statement, 2-Step PPD or IGRA)
- Successful completion of skills checklist and competency exams
- Education and employment verification
- Ohio fingerprints and criminal background check
- Driver's License / State ID
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver expert neonatal intensive care to NICU patients from 22 weeks gestation to full term
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform specialized NICU procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (neonatologists, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, social work) to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate and support families through the NICU stay, discharge planning, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and infection control
