- Location: Cleveland, OH 44111 (Cleveland respiratory therapist jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (options for 8 or 12 weeks available)
- Start Date: July 12, 2026
- Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (18:30 – 07:00) – travel RRT night shift
- Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights
- Weekly Hours: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,630 – $1,750
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (travel respiratory therapist)
- Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Unit (critical care / acute care)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Current NBRC certification (active and in hand at time of submission)
- Current BLS certification (active and in hand at time of submission)
- Valid Ohio RRT license (active and in hand at time of submission) — Ohio RRT license required
- CRT or RRT accepted
- Must be nicotine-free (facility is smoke-free)
- Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
- All work history, including any previous positions in hospital or healthcare facilities, must be included in your profile
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care and patient-centered interventions in a hospital setting
- Provide ventilator management, weaning protocols, and mechanical ventilation support
- Perform respiratory assessments, arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, and prescribed treatments (nebulizers, bronchodilators, chest physiotherapy)
- Manage airways, assist with intubation, noninvasive ventilation (NIV), and emergency respiratory procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to other hospital or healthcare facility locations as needed and work weekends as required
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation of all patient care activities
- Participate in required orientation, competency validation, and annual training modules
