- Shift: 12-hour Nights | 36 hours/week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
Required Qualifications — Registered Nurse (RN)
- Active RN license in Ohio or compact state (required)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience (required); PCU/stepdown, telemetry, or med-surg experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required)
- Dysrhythmia Exam (required; study guide available)
Preferred Qualifications for Neuro/Stroke PCU RN
- Neuro/stroke experience preferred — Stroke RN, Neuro Stepdown background a plus
- Experience with intermediate-level care, cardiac drips, and multi-system organ failure
- EPIC EHR experience and completion of a critical care course preferred
Key Responsibilities — PCU RN / Travel Nurse Duties
- Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for PCU/neuro patients
- Administer medications safely and manage cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
- Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams and serve as a patient/family liaison
- Act as a patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement and stroke care initiatives
- Manage care for patients with neuro/stroke conditions, multi-system organ failure, and intermediate-level needs
- Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions and emergencies with clinical confidence
- Provide patient and family education on treatments, recovery plans, and discharge instructions
- Document care accurately using EPIC EHR (preferred)
