Travel Operating Room (OR) Technician / Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Beachwood, OH (44122)

Travel OR Tech — 13-week assignment in Beachwood, OH (44122). Surgical technologist position focused on orthopedic (total joint) and urology cases in a modern hospital near Cleveland. CST required.

Job Details

Location: Beachwood, OH 44122 (Cleveland area)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 30, 2026)
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,470 – $1,580 (competitive travel surgical tech pay)
Shift: 8-hour days (6:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 40
Operating Rooms: 8 ORs — focus on orthopedic (total joint replacement) and urology cases
Call Requirement: Yes (participate in call rotation)
Openings: 3 Travel OR Tech positions

Qualifications / Job Requirements

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required (Certified Surgical Tech)
Minimum 1 year recent experience as an OR Tech / Scrub Tech; orthopedic (total joint) experience preferred
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Ability to fulfill scheduled call requirements
Completion of onboarding health and background requirements (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, 2-step PPD or IGRA, physical/health statement, background check)
Driver's License or State ID
Successful completion of skills checklist and competency exam

Key Responsibilities

Provide perioperative support as a scrub tech and circulating tech for orthopedic and urology procedures
Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment; follow aseptic technique and infection control standards
Assist surgeons and the surgical team during cases, including total joint replacements and urology procedures
Manage surgical instruments, supplies, sterile trays, and counts; ensure proper handling and turnaround
Participate in call rotation and respond according to facility protocols
Adhere to all facility policies, safety standards, and perioperative best practices
