• Setting: Level III Trauma Center, 17-bed ICU (critical care, cardiac/vascular, post-surgical)
• Start Date: June 15, 2026
• End Date: September 12, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 am – 7:30 pm), 36 hours/week
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 – $2,130

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience; first-time travel nurses must meet this requirement
• Active RN license valid in Wisconsin (compact license accepted if applicable)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CRRT (NxStage) and advanced renal replacement therapies
• EPIC charting experience (electronic medical record)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience with ventilator management, tracheostomy care, and invasive lines (A-line, CVP, Swan-Ganz)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 17-bed ICU as an ICU nurse / critical care nurse
• Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, invasive lines, drains, chest tubes, and post-surgical recovery
• Care for a diverse patient population including medical, surgical, cardiac/vascular, and post-cath patients
• Use bedside telemetry monitoring and collaborate closely with intensivists, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and support staff
• Float to intermediate care, MSU, ED boarding, and observation units as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and support quality improvement initiatives
• Complete a 1-day orientation and participate in ongoing education as required
