• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Travel Nurse
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 – $1,990
• Location: Westerville, Ohio (zip 43081) — Columbus area nursing job
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel
• Start Date: June 14, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Ohio (required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience (L&D RN / maternal-newborn nursing)
• BLS certification required
• NRP and ACLS preferred
• Experience with intrapartum and postpartum care, fetal monitoring (EFM), and newborn assessment
• Compliance with onboarding health and background requirements (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Fit Test, PPD/IGRA, drug screen, and others)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum (intrapartum and postpartum nursing)
• Monitor patient status using Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and other assessments; intervene appropriately
• Administer medications, assist with procedures, and support vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Perform newborn assessment and stabilization; coordinate neonatal transfers when necessary
• Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, neonatal care teams, and interdisciplinary staff
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and uphold patient safety and quality standards
• Flexibility to float to other units or care sites within the health system as needed
